Prerequisites

The session is for developers looking for expanding their knowledge about search capabilities in Drupal 8.

It's necessary to understand PHP code and have a basic orientation in Drupal admin UI. We'll try to explain everything else. 

Session details

Search on the web became an essential part of requirements. In this session we will walk through setup of Search API with Facets on Apache SOLR and we will show some interesting setups from our most recent project.

Participants of the session will be able to develop more complicated configurations of the search on Drupal websites. They will be able to apply Search API architecture knowledge to variety of practical problems they might encounter during their career. They will be able to select correct approach to debugging their searches.
