Performance testing, monitoring and profiling at scale in Drupal

Attendees will need a basic level of understanding of common performance issues, but this talk is accessible to anyone involved with deploying and hosting Drupal sites.

Session details

In this session we will take a look at some of the tools used for monitoring, logging and issue diagnosis in a large scale hosting platform, and then take a look at how we can dig deeper to resolve performance issues using profiling tools such as blackfire.io or xhprof.

By the end of the session you will have learnt common profiling terminology and be able to start diagnosing performance issues in your own Drupal applications.

We are also really keen to hear from people who might be interested in mentoring, training and helping us to develop and review training materials to make sure they stay absolutely current and relevant.
