Open Source with Passion or Do Not Pretend

Prerequisites

Any experience with, or willing to go Open Source.

Session details

This session is something like a "call-for-open-source" for other agencies. To be more open and more responsive. To share with community and let community to give something back.

  • What is Open Source?
  • Does it worth it or not?
  • What does it mean for an agency? What is an influence?
  • How to quick start open sourcing?
  • How to benefit from it?
  • What to support, and what not?
  • How to prioritize against clients?

In this session I want to share a real open source experience while working for enterprise, academics and digital.

Sometimes it's hard, but if you decide to go open source — do it with Passion!

Drupal apprentices

The best people to train new developers are developers

The Drupal Apprenticeship Scheme will be running a London intake in March. If you are interested in hiring an apprentice or know someone who would benefit from the scheme please get in touch via the link below.

  • Created and run by experienced developers
  • Teaches core skills and best practice
  • Extensive support for businesses and teams

We are also really keen to hear from people who might be interested in mentoring, training and helping us to develop and review training materials to make sure they stay absolutely current and relevant.
